With a Licence to drive a Bus or Coach

Passenger Carrying Vehicles today, transport an ever increasing number of people on our road networks. THE PROCESS

In order to obtain your PCV licence you must first have a FULL UK Category B (Car) Licence AND OVER 18.  You will then be required to take a PCV Medical Examination and have form D4 completed by a doctor
You must also complete form D2(D902) and send this along with form D4 as well as your existing drivers licence to the DVLA. They will then return your licence with the provisional category entitlements.
You will then need to study for and pass your Multiple Choice, Hazard Perception and Case Studies Theory Tests.
All of the above are included in our PCV Starter Package.
Once you have passed all three theory tests we can arrange your practical training and tests.

 

Once you have obtained your medical and your provisional PCV D licence, we offer a practical driving assessment at a cost of £40.00 (including VAT) which is
refundable if you then continue to have lessons with us.

The length of your training course will be determined by the practical driving assessment.  This way we know exactly how much training you require and we can
tailor the course specifically to meet your needs and requirements.

 Category D Training

 D is the category that allows you to drive a bus or coach with more than 16 passenger seats.

At  Parkhall Commercials we offer driver assesment training if you are a school college or local coach operator and you would like you employees taken out on a assesment once or periodicaly We can either come to you or you can come to us  where are qualified pcv driveing instructor can take your staff out and provide you with a written report
